Some Post Mother’s Day Pictures

May 14th, 2007 by Esther | 5

So finally some pictures to post! Hope everyone had a wonderful Mother’s Day…mine was good. Nice, peaceful, no stress, at home with kids and my friend Cinz. My mom/grandmothers came over for a bit, husband was home for a little bit before having to go to work. Husband surprised me with roses and a card, and my daughter “schemed” behind my back with him to get me what I’ve been wanting - new Lucy Neatby DVDS (Finesse Your Knitting and the Knitting Gems Series - yippiee) and Danny gave me a card he made at school along with this adorable snowglobe he made in class that has his picture inside and the back of the picture says I love you Mommy:

We ordered Chinese food, watched movies all weekend (Catch and Release - really good, Because I Said So - also pretty good, Music & Lyrics - eh - not so much)…oh and more of the Gilmore Girls Season One (I just got hooked on that show!). The kids wanted some pool time again and Cinz was up for it so while I waited for the delivery guy I snapped some pics of them enjoying the pool:

I started the sixth square of the Lily Chin afghan and then decided I needed a break from the knitting and decided to get rid of the “one pounder” skeins of acryllic that have been gathering dust in my craft room for years by making a crochet ripple afghan look:

All in all, a good weekend for sure.

Hope you all had a wonderful weekend also!

Hey Esther! How funny! My oldest daughter spent Saturday night with me and we ate Japanese food and watched “Catch and Release”. I am also a HUGE Gilmore Girls fan, I didn’t know you were too. I’m going to try to find time to post an update on my blog. Have a great week.

Great pictures. It looks like you had a wonderful Mother’s Day. The knitting DVD’s are awesome. I have a Spinning fiber instructional CD Rom, and those types of media instructional CD/DVD’s are amazing with how motivational and informative they can be.

Kudos and have a great weekend ahead. We are going to go see Shrek 3. ;D
