Willpower? Is There Such a Thing? (REALLY?)

Apr 29th, 2006 by Esther | 6

I’ve been knitting a little bit here and there as I’ve been able during the week after work, but lace and sleep deprivation aren’t a great combo so I limit the real knitting for the weekend hours.

I tried to be good, I did, I posted about those great needles and stitch markers from Designs by Tami and for a whole week I would admire but did not purchase (I was sooooo proud) - but alas, typical for me - I caved and then bought more than I originally planned - look!

For me, because what would a whimsical craft room be without some whimsical needles??:

Then I got these for my daughter because she LOVES horses:

Now, I must hold back - must find that self control or I will be visiting her again for the new peacock needles:

or the rest of the adorable farm:

LORD HELP ME!! LOL

Anyway, must pull myself away from this computer or I will get absolutely nothing done today.

ps: I just finished watching “An Unfinished Life” with Jennifer Lopez, Morgan Freeman and Robert Redford - pretty good! I really enjoyed it :-)

Have a great weekend!

Those are soooo cute! I am glad that I am a continental knitter and use circular needles (otherwise I am flapping)–or I’d be making some on-line purchases too!

Very cute! To bad I use mostly (really almost exclusively) circs, or I’d be awefully tempted!

They are quite whimsical however, and should be a perfect touch for your whimsical craft room (which we are all starting to doubt the existence of, btw)!

Esther! I know you didn’t tell me about this because you KNEW I’d fuss at you for it! Oh well, they will look pretty in your needle bucket! They ARE very cute.

Esther - Wow, pick up a few needles, did we? I love the flamingoes. . .and the sheep. . .and the horses! And those peacocks! Adorable. I’m wondering if all that extra weight on the end makes knitting hard though?

Now, since you’re practicing willpower, try to stay away from these ; ) Good luck!

They are so cute, how absolutely great - I especially love the froggie-ones! No wonder you got a bit out of control buying them, I would have too! :)

These are too cute, I love the sheep, pink flamingos and the peacocks. Let us know how you like knitting with them.
